Evaluation: Question 2- How does your media product represent particular social groups?

Posture/gesture/expression: Both models are stood in a neutral position on to show that they are artists that have casual attitudes towards their work and music. The model to the left is holding her jacket which could show that she is confident however her facial expression is quite harsh which isn't giving off any emotion to the readers which could show that he is a private person. You could say the same about the model on the right as her facial expression is also harsh and neutral. The fact that her hands are behind her back and she stood in a slouching position shows that she could not be as enthusiastic as the other model, however this may be part of her persona and how she wants to be received by the audience.
Costume/hair: Both models are blonde and their hair is naturally wavy/straight as if they haven't put much time into it to show that their music could be more important than their appearance. We can only see part of the model's outfit on the left- this is because I wanted draw more attention to her face where as we can see most the the right hand model's outfit, this may be because the posture of her whole body is intended to be seen to give off a certain type of aura. Both the models are both wearing black which could reflect on their music which could be quite dark.
Shot type/angle/lighting: A medium long shot is used on the model on the left as her face is main focus. She is mostly at the bottom of the frame which could make her seem vulnerable as she doesn't take up much of the frame and looks quite small. On the other hand, the model on the left takes up a lot of the frame which shows that she may be a strong female artist, she is also stood centrally in the middle of the frame which could suggest she is confident, as the other model is stood to the left which could suggest that she is not as sure of herself. There are shadows behind the model on the left which suggests that there is a spot light on her, the lighting is very neutral and also the picture has bee edited to be darker. Both shots are eye level so that they can identify with their target audience.
