I think my magazine is almost finished, there is a few finishing touches that need to be made but overall I am happy with the outcome.

Research and Planning: Opacity

I like the opacity effect on Photoshop so i tried to apply it to parts of my magazine to create a good effect, i used it on pictures and boxes i put on my magazine. I think that it fits in with my genre but it's also unique, also it makes objects blend together on the page.

I have changed the size of the font on the contents page as it as too big when printed and i also added another picture. On the double page spread i added a quote from the interview as there wasn't anything on the right hand side and on the front cover I added another story as there wasn't many on.

I have edited this particular photo twice as I am not sure what to use for my contents page. The first photo is the original picture I took of the model. I increased the saturation of the second photo which resulted in my model having ginger hair which I think looks quite good and it also fits in with my magazine's genre. Also, i decreased the saturation on the third photo which makes it almost grey scale, i think i want to use this for my magazine as it is a contrast to the other photo shoot I did which is very bright and bold and this photo shoot was quite natural.

Research & Planning: Font Styles On Double Page Spread

After a discussion in class I have learned that I should continue using a Serif font as it is easier to read as the font size will be quite small. This is a rule when publishing magazines.
